Will water work as coolant driving my truck 5 miles?

I got all ticked off when I tried to take apart stuff to find my coolant leak. I just busted off 3 studs on my passenger side wheel. I just dont feel like dealing with it. Im about ready to flip out and set my truck on fire. Is water ok as far as a 5 mile drive in place of coolant?
Oh wait it was only 2 studs. good to drive with 3 right!????

Plain water can be used as a coolant, but will not provide protection from rust and corrosion, or from freezing temperatures. Of course, if you keep busting wheel studs, you won’t be driving it for long anyway.
Good luck!

sure but have a lot of water with you if you have a big leak.and by the way a little BREAKAWAY PENNETRATING OIL works great on rusted lug nuts realy well.
And 3 broken studs means you may end up stranded within those 5 miles.

no problem using water.just don’t leave it in there to long as it will cause corrosion.replace it with a good mix of engine coolant.3 studs is ok in a pinch, but get it repaired as soon as possible.
