They won’t die, it doesn’t get hot enough in the dryer to kill them! Your roommate was right they are going to spread to your clothes now!!!

I don’t know the answer but I can suggest using Borax on your rugs and leave it on for 30 min and then vacuum

you need to use a fogger to really kill them heat won’t get them all. unless you unleash a small nuke in your house…. but I don’t advise it

Fleas like animals. If your cats are treated, the problem will go away. We just had an issue w/ our dog having fleas. We treated her with frontline and it did the trick.
The heat from the dryer will kill the fleas.
Tell her not to worry.
Also, pest control could try to treat the fleas – but I found out by our vet that as soon as you treat your animals the fleas will die off on their own in a couple of weeks.
I hate fleas and can sympothize!!

the fleas can invade clothes. kick the cat outside and then get rid of the fleas. otherwise, enjoy seeing them everywhere , even in your hair and pubics.

I don’t know much about fleas and white kind of temperatures they can withstand, but i highly DOUBT they can live through a dryer cycle.

No, heat encourages egg hatch. Go to the garden store/ nurursery and get some Seven Dust. It is safe enough to sprinkle on your pets. You first really need to get the flea prob with the animal under control. Program will make the flea eggs sterile so your population wont increase. Infestation of unmanageable proportion can happen very fast.
