Will a little bit of mice dropping hurt you?

I have a mouse problem out side my house and a mouse snuck in the house. I can’t catch it we have tried everything traps with peanut butter poison you name it! He has been pooping around my house and I try to clean up what I find but I’m sure there is more in spot where I can’t reach or see. Is it harmful to have a little bit of mouse dropping around then house if I ant find them? I Lysol my house down everyday and make sure there is absolutly no food for them to get.
Thanx for you answers

Mouse droppings release some kind of gas that, if there is too much, can kill you. Or if you’re pregnant, can kill the baby. At least try harder to get it out. And besides, to have mouse crap in your house is disgusting.
same is happining to me.

Get a bucket , put some old cooking oil in the end of it. Tape a dish cloth to it so that it reaches just a tad down on the inside but drapes on the floor on the outside. The mouse will get in then but not back out again. This really does work and you can deposit the mouse back outside without harming it.

How odd that you can’t attract it to bait if you have removed all other food supplies. Usually mouse droppings are harmless however they can carry Hantavirus (a really bad player). I wouldn’t worry about a single mouse having Hanta, it would die soon, but the bunch in the yard would worry me a lot. Hanta is transmitted by inhaling the dust from dried droppings.
