why are there ants on my laptop ??!!!?

Ive got ants in my bedroom ! OUT OF THE WHOLE HOUSE THEY CHOOSE MY ROOM !! I think they are gone , i havent seen them for atleast 3 days. But how can i make sure they are all gone ? And my family gets orkin to come to outr house and she even called the guy and he came and ONLY went to my room and the next day i saw like 3 ants. so i am wondering are they gone yet and how can i KEEP them out ? BTW : I have these stools in my room and i saw like 4 on them and one ant crawled up and was on my laptop screen how can i control this ?

There is a ant killer which is a liquid which in itself is harmless.
But when ants take away blobs of it, apparently they like the taste, back in their nest
it evaporates in the heat and makes phosgene gas which is toxic to ants.
Sprinkle the stuff near the hole or gap they enter by, and wait for it to happen
It might take quite a while. I cant rem name of product, but its a little white
plastic bottle with red and black printing on it. Grrrr I wish I could rem the name.

Why don’t you get RAID or another bug killer etc. or better yet get a spider or something to eat them, or whatever the ant’s natural enemy is, find out where they are comming from hough. And if gets realy bad cal an exterminator etc.

When you spray for ants, you tend to see more activity because ants bury their dead, so they will be running around until they croak or leave. There are a couple different reasons why they may be hanging in your room- Are you a good food source? even slight spills or crumbs can get them going. My kids once dropped an apple core under the sofa… we found it a couple weeks later eaten so clean it was scary ind of like those TV shows where skeletons are cleaned by closing them up with bugs- creepy! Some ants also need to be near a source of water- is your room close to the bathroom? Pipes and condensation are sources they like.
Here are a couple of cool yet very safe ways to get rid of ants- you can kill them by using a very small amount of dish soap in water- put it in a sprayer, and spray it directly on ants you want to kill- It will destroy their exoskeletons, killing them pretty quickly, but you can clean up afterward without harming the environment- I have cleaned out entire nesting areas this way, killing lots of ants and encouraging a huge amount to move on- Ants are also not willing to cross a chalk line. They leave a chemical trail in order to give directions and such, sort of like a bread crumb path- anyway, chalk screws up the system, clogging up their receptors or something- anyway if you can find where they are coming from, you can draw a line of chalk that will protect your computer or whatever else you don’t want them to get into. I actually use this method to keep ants from a huge anthill in my back yard from getting into my kitchen. good Luck!

Stop eating in your room or leaving food in your room (my kids are famous for this). Plus, wash the floor/wall where they’ve been. You have scout ants. Apparently, they are following an ant trail we can not see or smell. To get rid of it you must wash where they walk. I would take a bucket of water, some Lysol, and a sponge and wipe down where they are walking and entering your room. If your parents can get you some ant traps from the grocery store – Raid works well. Get the one that eats the bait and takes it back to their nest to share with others. It works.
