where do snails or slugs come from? where do they hide that we don’t see them out all day?

i’m just wondering because a friend asked me this and i thought it was a stupid question, then i started wondering. where do they come from?…

tey hide in the undergrouth during the day.

They hide in the shells, trees, barks,ground,dry leaves and move out when there is a change of climate,rain or disturbance.

put out a board in the shade and wait a couple days then go back and check the underside of the board then you will see there hiding spots before they chew holes in your garden stuff
