Ok so we got these roachs not the big old ones that fly. but the litte brown ones that look like this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/49/Cockroach_closeup.jpg/449px-Cockroach_closeup.jpg
We have had people come spray. and they dident die. So we use begal. and it killed em. But they just came back. Then we use home defense and it dont seem to work. Borax powder don’t seem to either. Were running out of things to try. Were giving up hope. Does anyone know what to do or anything to kill these things they seem impossible to kill.

Get boric acid powder from a garden supply I bought it at lowes mix it with sugar, more sugar than boric acid then sprinkle it in places the roaches like to go.No poison and it works.

Boric Acid. It works 100%. I know for a fact that Walgreens sells it, but I’m sure it’s available elsewhere also. It is sold specifically for roach extermination. Just look at the active ingredients on the containers. It will be a white powder and usually comes in a squeeze bottle (kinda like the ketchup and mustard bottles you see in diners, just bigger) so you can squeeze the powder out into baseboard cracks and the like.
Years ago when we had roaches we tried everything also. Professional exterminators, bombs, traps, etc. Nothing worked. Then we tried the boric acid. I think it was called roach-proof (although I think proof was spelled weird, like prufe maybe). Within 2 weeks they were GONE! of course we continued applying the stuff for a couple more weeks just to be sure. I’ve recommended the stuff to several people over the years and all have had the same results we did.
Just be careful where you apply it if you have small “floor-dwelling” kids or pets in the house.
Here we go. I found a link:

I am going to jump on the wagon here and say a resounding YES to boric acid (not Borax detergent), with or without sugar. No other chemicals or bug companies can take care of them. I put a line of the stuff (or I used to, I don’t need to anymore) behind bookshelves and dressers, under stoves and refrigerators, way back behind the trash compactor, and anywhere else pets can’t reach. If you have no pets, you can just put the stuff wherever you please, like around all baseboards and entryways. You can vacuum it up a few weeks after you’ve seen no roaches and just leave it in the hidden places.
Home Depot and Lowe’s (and I think Walmart) sell it in a container with a pointy lid (like a giant white restaurant ketchup bottle) just for this purpose. It makes it a lot easier to make a nice line or to squirt it in cracks.
Another note: If you have a habit of keeping corrugated cardboard boxes around, get rid of them pronto. Roaches love to lay eggs in the corrugations of those boxes. They are also attracted to paper grocery sacks and wallpaper paste.
I swear those buggers could withstand a nuclear attack from Kim Jong il. Resilient li’l suckers, aren’t they. Boric acid is your friend.
