I’d start with Seven dust sprinkled all over the yard. Treat your pets and a day later spray with a treatment that kills fleas. If you don’t treat your pets, you’ll never get rid of the fleas. They don’t stay on the pets, they just feed then jump off. Good Luck.
Believe it or not, I have used Moth crystals sprinkled in the yard. Not the moth balls but they sell crystals that are in the laundry aisle at any major store. They do not hurt your pets as I raise Cairn Terriers and all they do is sniff them and walk off. Seven dust also works but the moth crystals are a good trade off if you don’t have any Seven.
For the yard, if you have a severe flea problem and need a quick fix, use a pyrethrin, not a pyrethroid. Wait 24 hours and then treat the yard with a long-term flea control, such as nematodes. Wet the yard first. Apply the first treatment to kill eggs and larvae, and then in 5-7 days apply a second treatment to kill adults. The nematodes keep on working for up to 2 years depending of how much you water the yard and how hot summertime gets. The nematodes also knock out fire ants.

Call pest control. They come out and treat your grass with some kinda insect killer. Look for one in your town.
