What do you do when you have a relative always meddling in your personal life?

My cousin, who is married, thinks that she can but in to my personal life. She is deterring this guy from showing any interest in me. We talk and then she gets ticked and then interferes. Could it be jealousy? How do I tell her to but out without causing a major fight?

tell them to back off and get there own life no matter how old they are because god diddn’t make two of you he just made one and sometimes just keep it to yourself

Just tell her that its bothering you and you need your space if she loves you she will understand.

Sometimes you have to distance yourself from them. I had to do that with my mother and grandmother because they wanted to control my life, it seems anyway.

I doubt that it’s jealousy that’s causing her to meddle in your personal life. If anything she’s meddling because she doesn’t think the guy you like is good enough for you. And you should tell your cousin that you appreciate her concern and you respect her opinions and such but this is your life to live. If you make mistakes then you will learn from them but all she can and should do is just be a friend and not to get nosy. Good luck.
