What are symptom’s of lyme disease? Doctors!?
I was hiking yesterday with my dad even thought i didn’t want to go. I was wearing raggy jeans with rips in the knees, a t shirt, and sneakers with my hair down. He warned to check for ticks and i did. I had one crawling on my pants. I threw it some where. Then there was one on my neck about to bite me.I threw that too. Then there was one on my left side of my head. I killed that one. Then today in school (I’m in sixth grade) there was one on my Right side of my head. I killed and was sent to the nurse. She questioned me and checked me. She said the tick bit me and that the head or whatever was not in it. I’m good at pulling off bugs. Anyway, she asked me if i was itchy and i wasn’t until she implanted it in my head. I’m still itchy now and over the first tick on my head bit me is itchy and there’s a super minor throb every about ten seconds. It mostly hurts well doesn’t really hurt, but throbs when i think about it. the other spot where i was bit is itchy too. The tick was black and about a little smaller than a lady bug. There were Lot’s legs. Do I have lyme disease? I know that one symptom is sore joints.I not sore anywhere except where i was hit by a baseball on my upper left back yesterday. Please answer my question. Thanks!

I and my husband have both had Lyme…one of the things to look for at the bite site is a bullseye rash…about 2 weeks after being bitten I was getting very high fevers, extreme joint pain all over my body, and just plain felt like I had been hit by a truck.. The tests that check for it are not very accurate, but I do remember my SED rate was through the roof!! I have never been more ill in my entire life, and the pain was excruciating. I had to be on antibiotics for 3 weeks that gave me 2 yeast infections, and a rash on my arm that itched like crazy and didn’t go away until about a week after I was done with the antibiotics. The pain was so intense the Dr gave me an RX for Percocet. I do belive that deer ticks are tiny and brown as well, not black.
