Title of early 90′s/late 80′s animated kids movie set with animals in forest.?

It involved a bunch of baby forest animals, ex. baby skunk, baby hedgehog, baby turtle?, baby mole with glasses. And there all taught by a professor who is a hedgehog or something like that. Anyways, a man throws a bottle out of a truck, and a 18-wheeler tire busts because of the bottle, and the 18-wheeler was carrying gas, and the whole forest is poisoned and the baby animals escape with the professor. Who at some point they all build this flying machine made out of leaves that the professor invented and the skunks parents die. Yep.

Once Upon a Forest (1993)

The story opens in a forest known as Dapplewood, where “Furlings”, a term for animal children, live alongside their teacher Cornelius. The four Furlings central to the story are Abigail, a woodmouse; Russell, a hedgehog; Edgar, a mole; and a badger named Michelle, who is Cornelius’ niece. One day, the children go on a trip through the forest with Cornelius. Afterward, they go back to the forest to find that it has been destroyed with poison gas from an overturned tanker truck that had been transporting chlorine gas. Michelle goes into her house, only to breathe some of the gas and become severely ill. Abigail manages to save her, and the Furlings go to Cornelius’ house nearby for shelter. There, Cornelius tells the Furlings that they need to fetch two herbs that can help Michelle. With only a limited amount of time, they head off for their journey the next day.
