oh my, poor thing! you can’t use frontline yet, or other pesticides. STOP using borax please.
ticks can be stopped by making sure they stay on well-mowed areas, and away from leaves, bushes or tall grass (tall meaning 3 inches or more in this case).
pull ticks out as they occur. fleas can be controlled somewhat on hard surfaces with bleach & water. this is not a solution, but it should help. of they have mats or carpet, clean or vacuum them daily
good luck! take care of that little one
frontline is ok for that young? i apologise: my dog is older, and things were different back then. frontline plus is an EXCELLENT choice if it is approved

I can’t help you with the fleas or ticks, Our dogs don’t have either of those.
But your problem likely stems from the fact that you are leaving your dog outside.. Dobermans aren’t an outside breed.. And she is far too young to be a dog in the kennel. They are VERY much people dogs and tend to start to lick and cause sores on their body if left in a kennel..
I think left outside you are going to continue to have these problems.. Bring the dog in the house where
she belongs.
When you bought the dog, didn’t the breeder make you sign an agreement saying that you wouldn’t kennel the dog, that the dog would be part of your family??

You can use Frontline Plus on puppies form the age of 6 weeks of age and older. It says so on the box. That will kill the ticks.
Did i read correctly that you got the puppy when it was one month old? No puppy should be taken away from it’s mother until its 8 weeks old which is 2 months old. At one month of age or 4 weeks the puppy in hardly weened by that age and can suffer from a lower immune system as it gets older from not getting the complete nutrients from the Mother’s milk until the appropriate age.

No, don’t use any flea collars, NONE work.
Yes, you can and should use Frontline Plus or Advantix – they both kills ticks and fleas. Surprised your vet didn’t advise you of this???
