On Friday my mom was holding a dachshund and we found a tick by its neck. Then she felt a pinch on her arm and saw a little gray thing on her arm, but said she didn’t get a good look at it. We think it might be a tick, but we’re not sure. My grandma said for a tick to give you lyme disease, it has to have to be embedded in your skin. Is this true?
