should I get tested for lyme disease?

I went camping once in the woods and woke up to find a tick attached to me.
I have never mentioned it to my doctor, because I was very embarrassed. The tic was attached to a delicate area. I didn’t want to explain that to the doctor.
I don’t think it was attached more than 24 hours. We just burned it off with a match.
I will never go camping again in my life…

See your doctor. Do you know if the tick was attached for at least 24 hours?

I had a tick in between my boobs once. My sister had one (on a different occasion) right next to her vagina. Both ticks were tested for lyme disease after the doctor removed them. (we were both fine)
Anyways, if you feel fine you COULD go test but probably don’t need to.
also, don’t shy away from camping. Both of ours were picked up in different backyards in the city. They can find you anywhere so don’t worry about camping.
