The cat constantly meows and breaths really hard, and has what looks like it has a slight bloody nose.
The cat had to go to a kennel while he was on vacation and while she was there she got incredibly infested with fleas (we weren’t happy). Since then we’ve given her a flea bath and put a flea collar on her. But she does this sporadic thing to where we can’t tell if she is having a seizure or if she is scratching herself really hard. We don’t know if she has a infection, or what? We’re really short on cash, so a trip to the bet is going to be really hard to afford.

its still better to bring it to the vet as only the vet knows whats really wrong with the cat…
Good luck… and all the best for the cat… Get well soon

If the cat doesn’t get some help it’s going to die.

She could have kennel cough from the other animals. Take her to the vet and ask if you can make payments. There usually pretty good about treating animals. They don’t want to see them suffer either.

Might be coryza… I fyou don’t take your cat to the vet, it could die or never breathe normally again… No operation needed usually, the vet will probably just give you a medicine, but he has to check what is the problem first.
BTW ciryza is common in kennels…
I worked in a kennel and got a cat with coryza. She couldn’t breathe correctly all her life.

well first of all, take it to the vet because it might have a serius disorder called feline infectious something. i can’t remember the name completely but all i know that it is a highly deadly dissease and no matter what the costs are, you need to because the cat may faid very quickly! look ths dissease up on the internet. it might be some help. but in the mean time, TAKE OFF THE FLEA COLLAR! IT IS UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THE CAT. there is one thing i have found which might help. look in where the source(s) part is!

Heres what you do, make an appointment with your vet take the cat in and let the vet check him out, get the proper medications, then when its time to pay the bill ask if you could make payments on the bill. Most vets are willing to work out a payment plan that is acceptable for both you and him of course you will probably have to pay intrist on the unpaid ballance but who cares, kitty will be fine ,you will be happy and the vet is getting paid. Its a win win cituation.

She could very well be having a reaction to the flea collar. It’s not advised that you use those due to the severe reactions that cats can have. Also, you have to be very careful about the flea shampoos you use – cats clean themselves and ingest the chemicals in those shampoos. Take the flea collar off now and make some calls and see if you can’t find a vet that will let you make payments. She really needs to be seen!

Oh, take the poor thing to the vet. It sounds very sick and might get worse if it does not get seen. Most vets will take payments. If you friend had money for a vacation and for kenneling during that time period he should have some money for his cat.
