my doggie has fleas?

my 4yr old pom has got fleas..not ticks..i am from india..i’ve consulted many docs they recommended shampoos which did not carry manufacturing dates and expiry dates so i didnt buy them..someone suggested me to give him a bath with dish washing gel or something..i’m really worried about him..which shampoo should i use on him..which is available in INDIA..pls help!

Use a flea dip. The vet can also give shots for fleas.

I agree with the girl about 1800petmeds.com. But your doctor should have been able to tell you what you can use for your dog. Flea dips work, but be careful around the dog’s eyes.

My vet says Palmolive dish soap is the BEST soap for dogs; it’s gentle, completely safe, even kills fleas. Can you get this brand there? After that, get him on Frontline or Advantix to prevent further flea & tick problems.
