my dog hitches a lot.i check for fleas but find none.i wonder if mosquitoes could be the problem? ?

he is 8 weeks old and i try everything to stop the scratching but nothing works…
oh he pees everywhere and i cant control it. what can i do? he is really stubborn but i still love him.

Him peeing everywhere is just a matter of housetraining. Since he’s so young he can only hold is bladder for about three hours. Well, he needs to go the vet and get shots anyway, have the vet take a look at him then.

get him checked out if it is mosquitoes cuz to us its just bites but to dogs it their life (heart worms)

He probably has dry skin. I would recommend buying ‘The Missing Link,’ and some natural Fish Oil from Petco to put on his food. My little dog recently had a bad case of dry skin, and I couldn’t even see the flakes. But after applying this to her food, it was gone. Good luck.

Depending on what kind of dog it is it might be allergies! My dog is a Pitbull and just about 80% of them have allergy problems. We have had to swith her dog to Science Diet (about $22 dog food but worth it), and spray her 2wice a day with medication that we got from the vet! If you feed it table scraps they might be allergic to the food, or their own dog food, or if he sleeps in a bed or in a crate if you have covers in there it might be the detergent, fabric softener etc. It could be anything! start by calling your local vet, telling him what the actions are and asking him what you will need to do…b/c if ALL ELSE FAILS…You can always do a skin graph test on him/her..and that will cost about $400 depending on where you live! hope I have helped!

LMAO! It took me a few minutes to figure out what “hitches” meant… guess my “uneducated asker” radar is not working correctly today….
Oh, and dogs need to be HOUSE TRAINED… of course you cannot control when your dog urinates, and at that age, he is having a hard time with it too. Sign YOURSELF up for an obedience class!!!
