She should be fine. I’d be more concerned with the actual flea. Did you kill it?
You may want to, as a precaution, bomb your house this weekend(or earlier, if you can) and get some spray for the furniture. Fleas can spread rapidly and you don’t want your whole house getting infested.

Just leave it alone, it will go away in a few days. It’s just a flea, she will be playing outside this summer and I assume will get all kinds of bug bites. If it’s bothering her you can put some calamine lotion on it but that’s all.

Seriously? Pest control for one flea?
Get some flea killer for carpets and furniture from your supermarket and use that according to the instructions. (Just in case the flea had time to lay eggs.)
And use an antiseptic cream like Savlon on your daughters arm.

she will be fine. There is no reason to get a pest control guy, fleas have to be on an animal in order to survive for any length of time, since you don’t have any animals there’s no where for the flea to live and it will die. if the bite mark is itching you can use some afterbite or calamine lotion on it.

The biggest concern is infections caused by scratching. An over-the-counter 1% hydrocortisone cream can help relieve itching.
Other common treatments for flea bites are to wash the bites with antiseptic soap to reduce the risk of infection, apply an ice pack frequently to help relieve swelling, or use calamine lotion, anesthetic creams or similar to treat the itching.
