Lyme Disease or something else?
I believe I got bitten by two ticks late June of this year because there were two bit marks. About a week later, those bite marks became itchy and I thought it was nothing. About 2 weeks after that I visited my uncle’s house and that night I started to get hives and the next morning my throat itched. Once I returned home I got hives all over my body and I visited the doctors. They prescribe me anti-histimine and steroid. After taking those for a week, the hives went away but the itchiness in my throat didn’t stop. Then I got sick (running noise, coughing, etc but no fever). Now I’m feeling better but my throat still itches and I still get hives just not as severe as before. I went for a lyme disease test and they found out that i have 2 out of 8 or something which the physician said i didn’t have lyme disease. A couple days before I went to take the test, the muscles on my arms and legs were sore. I believe that it could be lyme disease or my throat being itchy (the physician also checked and said my throat was red), or allergy (but it has been almost 3 months since i visited my uncle and I have no known history of allergy). Are these symptoms related to lyme disease or is it something else?

Not Many of those symptoms are “early-Lyme” related. Running nose & coughing are NOT Lyme. Nor is “hives”, or an itching throat.
Sore muscles in the arms & legs Might result from Lyme, however it’s usually felt in the major joints.
But you have Something [Else] going on here. You might very well have been exposed to something while at your Uncle’s that triggered an allergic response. This could incude a food, OTC drug… or even clothing, or something lurking “in” it. (It also sounds like you caught a cold.
If you are continuing to get hives, you need to figure out what might be triggering this. Even though you have no “history of allergy” it’s possible you developed one. Allergies can start at any point in life. There are tests that can be run…. or you can start by eliminating certain foods/ groups & exposure to certain fabrics.

Tick bites can give you other nasty stuff besides Lyme disease. Also, lab tests for Lyme are notoriously unreliable. Be advised, if it IS Lyme, steroids can make it worse.
