I don’t think you’re going to find many “god” hotels in Las Vegas. Har Har Hardy Har Har!!!
Seriously, I have a friend who goes to Vegas regularly. He’ll only stay at the Bellagio.

My fave is Paris–you can usually get a decent rate and the location is great, right in the middle of the strip. I also like Bellagio, but they tend to be higher priced.

For Greek “Gods”, Ceasar’s Palace is the place.

I live in Vegas and my favorite is Wynn Hotel and Casino…nobody beats their service. Another place to try is Red Rock Station…it’s a local casino, brand new, off the strip and fabulous! Can’t go wrong with either one, Good Luck!

Mandalay Bay is the best. Their pool area is awesome. Maybe you’ll use it since going in the summer.

If you are going to LVNV in the summer you can just about have your pick of hotels and probably within your budget. Due to the extreme heat, there are very few,if any large meetings or conventions which believe it or not is more important to the hotels than the gamblers. They still have to fill the rooms either with conventioneers or tourists.
My personal choice for budget hotels on the Strip is the Imperial Palace and the Excalibur. Both are convenient to the monorail and are at each end of the busiest parts of the strip. Circus Circus is also a good choice, and at $50 to $60 a night online you get your money’s worth.
If you are going when there are no meetings going on, hotels near the Convention Center and along Koval Lane will be a good value.
If your budget is a little higher, Harrah’s (next door to the IP) is good as is the MGM Grand and Bally’s. Again, monorail connections are just outside your door.
Always lots of shows there. Take your pick but don’t forget a trip to Hoover Dam/ Lake Mead. Worth the $50 or so for the bus/boat trip.
Many, many years of conventions in LV

Imperial is really good *cheap and in the middle of the strip!
I like dolphins so we went to the dolphin habitat-kinda expensive to get into, but it was nice!
*weve only stayed at imperial! for round trip, 4 days/3 nights, was less than $400!!
