   There is an awesome site that is in almost every community nationwide. Just get on the main site and find your community and surrounding nearby communities.

   It is http://www.freecycle.org. People post stuff they want to give away (yes, totally free) and people can post stuff they need. I use it ALL the time. It is a great way to get your closets cleaned out

   I have also found some great free stuff I needed.
