These bugs are red, round, and small with tiny legs. I think some can even be rectangluar; they resemble ticks and like to sit in dark places, but those places don’t neccessarily have to be damp. I rarely spot them out in the open on the walls, my couch, and sometimes my bed! It’s wiered because I don’t let my covers hit the floor. What are they? What should I do to get rid of them?

I seldomly see them and don’t think they bite because if they did, then I would have been biten by now, I think, but I’m still not sure. When I tried look up the bug online I did find any pictures on “What’s That Bug?” website or any other website. Although they could be mites, they look more like ticks.
