How to know when fleas are gone?

My indoor cat got fleas!! She is long haired and her fur is really thick! I used a flea comb on her, and got one flea. I used zodiac flea and tick powder (I’m not sure it kills eggs tho?). I combed her again and got nothing. She doesn’t seem to be itching as much, but I know she was bit and had a reaction so it will take some time to completely stop. How do I know they are gone? Could she have only had one flea? I vacuumed the most frequented carpets and washed my bedding. Its so hard to tell with her long thick fur….

You can check her stomach to see if you can find flea dirt, if so I would treat her with frontline or something a vet sells.
You can also run your fingers through her fur preferably on the lighter areas, to see if you can see any fleas.
Hey, it works for dogs.

you can bring fleas in your home by them jumping on you from other animals outside, you might be lucky and have one,but they breed in carpets so you might find more in weeks time
