How can one remove an ant scent trail without bug spray?

I spilled some grease in the sink that I didn’t wash down. The ants found the spot. Now there’s a trail of ants. I don’t want to spray poison in my kitchen. I know ants follow a trail and that cleaners like windex and sparkle don’t remove the scent trail.

Try bleach. I dont think they like bleach. Or Ortho ant/bug repellant. It works for months.

Try sprinkling some white bleached All Purpose flour around their trail. They will avoid it.
