How can I get ants out of my car safely?
Unfortunately I parked under a tree at work and the branches hit the hood of my car, and since this tree was infested with ants they were on my car. I killed about 10 in my car and then let the car sit for a day at my house while I drove another car. I saw an ant on the side of my car this afternoon, then I looked inside it and there were about 15 or so ants on the dash, on the center Console, in the doorway, etc. I sprayed certain areas with Raid but I think they are coming from under the hood as I saw a few coming out of the air vents in the car.
How can I get rid of them? I thought about putting in one of those ants stakes but then I thought they might find some new “friends” in my own yard to invite for a party in under the hood.
Any sure fire ways for getting rid of this pesky ants would be greatly appreciate!!!

if you take a powerful grass and leaf blower, it might work.
Good luck.

There are a couple of sure fire ways:
-The classic ant bait things you see at Home Depot or Lowes will work fine and not attract legions of yard ants to your car.
-You could concoct a home brew of borax and sugar in a small plastic dish – the ratios can be found by googling it – but it’s cheaper and easier to go with the latter option.
They both do the same thing – poison the critters.

put some dry grits out for them. They’ll eat the grits, drink water and blow up.
