i have noticed some roaches have come into my home, most of them have been baby ones, but I am starting to notice some bigger ones! There are different kinds, such as the Oriental roach, and the Woods roach. I live in a very moldy house that has not the proper plastic laid under the house, and we also have book lice (psocids) as well. On top of all of this my house was build in 1929, and part of my house has no plastic laid underneath it at all (an addition.) I have no idea where these roaches could be coming from! Could they be coming up from my central air vents? I have leaky faucets and I can’t do anything about it! I can only do so much and am not in control. It is about to get really cold for the winter! I still don’t know what to do. My husband is very dirty, and every time I clean up he drops food everywhere. I have no control over anything. Any suggestions that are unusual, I spray ortho, home defense a lot, and my daughter sprays bleach where ever she sees these roaches to get rid of their dookie smelling “trails.” Is it enough? I put out rat poison all of the time, because I notice rat dookie all over my dressers and window sils and what not. Is killing the rats going to make roaches appear?
