HELP!! Got Ant Issues!!?
So three days ago we discovered ants in the pantry on the floor. I cleaned them up then sprayed raid ant spray. That was successful, no more ants in the pantry. Now they are on the wall next to the stove Ants Everywhere and lots of them! I pulled the stove out and you can see they are traveling somewhere from that area. We had bought some of those ant bail traps (12 in a box) The instructions are kind of vague. I does say NOT to use any spray with them because it could contaminate the traps.
The Kitchen has been off limits for the past few days, I just can’t deal with these ants and think about making any meals until they are gone. Just trying to control the problem without the cost of an exterminator if possible.
So weird how they have gone up to the spice cabinet and attacking the olive oil spray can and the bottle of olive oil. Apparently, ants love olive oil. lol
Any insight on this problem?

use a good disinfectant cleaner, kills ants within seconds, wipe up, repeat as necessary, ants will stop coming in after a few treatments.
treat area around outside of house with a good insecticide labeled to kill ants

Wipe down all surfaces. Tables and counter tops should be regularly sprayed and cleaned with a mild bleach or vinegar solution. Sweep, mop, and vacuum regularly.
Spray the trail with all-purpose cleaner or a bleach solution, then wipe it up with a wet paper towel. Spraying the nest should be done only do this if you can get them all, however, because spraying the next partially can encourage certain species to establish new colonies
For a less hands-on solution, vacuum them all up, then vacuum some talcum powder to finish them off.
Salt works just fine as well, and you can spread it under doors, near windows and walls with better conscience.
You can apply scents and substances that ants simply don’t like for various reasons: vinegar, peppermint oil, cinnamon, black pepper, cayenne pepper, whole cloves, and bay leaves. Some of these might be harmful to pets and irritating to curious children.
