Does anyone know anything about what tick bites look like?

I was bitten by a tick by about 4 months ago. There was a small red welt intially that was really itchy and over time it slowly started getting smaller, but its always been itchy off and on. Now tonight it was itchier than usual, and I noticed there is bigger welt, just to the side of the original tick bite, it looks like a really large mosquito bite. It doesn’t have the characteristic bullseye appearance that it would have if I had lyme disease, but I’m still nervous about it.
Is this something I should see the doc about?

You need to wipe it down with alcohol. After that put a triple antibacterial cream on it. Not ointment. Ointment won’t soak into the skin well. If it gets worse see a doctor incase of a staph infection.

I’ve had a lot of tick bits and am fairly allergic to them and this doesn’t sound like any bits I’ve ever had. Nor do they last that long.
