Christians or Muslims – Please help me with this question about God’s Miracles?
If there is a all knowing, loving God who CARES for His creations, why did He give all this information to the prophets, Moses, etc .. but not send down from Heaven a specific recipe for an ointment to kill off the fleas and other body bugs that historical documents tell us infested the beards, clothes and huts of the writers of the Bible and Koran?
I mean, if God could change water into wine, hold back the waters of the Red Sea .. how about some parisite relief for those He is said to Love, just an easy and practical ointment recipe? Or even some manuals on how to do simple appendectimy operations, to save the thousands of lives lost, until we figured this out? Instead we get volumes of who begat who, and so on .. Where’s the BEEF?
Are the religious “believers” not just kidding themselves, that there is a God .. with all these questions that they can not answer properly?

Miracles are tangible evidence of God’s existance. Flee’s are not tangible evidence of No God.

Since the bible does not mention this being a problem, then maybe it wasn’t…God had many purity and bathing rituals for the people as well as dietary laws, so maybe they were cleaner than most other peoples..They avoided cerain foods that contained parasties, like pork (with its trichonosis). When the isrealites left egypt, there was “none sick or feeble among them.” God had promised them in Deuteronomy 28 if they obeyed all his commandments that sickness and disease, and poverty would be avoided… they must have stuck to this precept most of the time. They rarely mention illness in the bible, and when it does get mentioned, the priests had recipes for cures or the prophets would perform miracles.

The ingredients you find to rationalize your disbelief amuses me! Come on, dude, FLEAS!!!LOL that is your way of proving their’s no God!? Weak proof at best. You should go back to the guy who put that into your head and slap him!!!LOL( just kidding, don’t do that!) Appendectomies, right? Well I don’t remember any of God’s prophets killed from a lack of appendix surgeries! Yet God has always healed HIS CHILDREN who love Him. God uses such problems as the appendix to judge grown ups,yet things go wrong, and little children die, but isn’t it better that they don’t have to go on in this world but rather in a perfect world with their Father? Ohh yea, you believe that’s it for the child, no chance, no hope, no love. Your beliefs sentence those children to nothingness and loss. Is that right? The “beef” as you say is in the Bible and you’re starving yourself trying to devour the scraps dropped from Darwin’s table. But his table is empty by Darwin’s own admission. Darwin said “If one could prove that single-celled organisms can split then I am wrong.” (I’m paraphrasing) And they can split as your precious science has proven. So why do scientists continue to back Darwin’s THEORY? Because they would rather back a lie that they discovered rather than the truth that makes them useless. I’ll tell you another miracle of God, friend. The miracle of God changing your heart, and that’s the one that’s harder than any other, but IT CAN HAPPEN if you’d let it.

The BIBLE (GOD’s WORD), is the ANSWER to all problems on the EARTH and then some. You have to keep reading and reading it, till you understand the ANSWER. The BIBLE (with the HOLY SPIRIT leading and guiding you) will explain itself. Sometimes you have to go back to the original language it was written in, in some places, to understand it better. We will never (I don’t think) understand it fully because it is the CREATOR of the UNIVERSE (JESUS) in written form (WORD of GOD). To answer your question, I will have to go and read my BIBLE, might take a while, good question!!!!!!

Those things dont exist in the Bible because if God gave instructions for an appendectomy and 1000 years later man came up with a more efficient and effective way of doing it, it would mean that man is greater than God. There is nothing of substance in the Bible because the Bible was written in ignorance. Haven’t you noticed that there is not 1 thing in the Bible, not even 1 that can be proven scientifically. Other than the obvious things like crucifixion kills.
