My Venus flytraps would produce flowers in the spring (usually May), so it’s possible to get seeds, but you may have to pollenate the flowers yourself. You only get flowers if you allow the plant to have a cooler period over the winter.
To reproduce without flowers, you need to wait until the stem of the plant divides so both sections have leaves, and a few roots. You shouldn’t do this as soon as the new section forms, but allow it to grow so you get a plant with several good leaves. You can also pull at leaf off all the way to its base and grow this into a new plant: http://www.terrariums.org/terraria/guild/carnivorous.html (see under Venus Flytraps, Advanced cultivation, “How do I vegetatively propagate my Venus flytrap?”. (links to individual pages can’t be posted)
