best answer gets 10 points. persuasive essay on why butterflies shouldn’t be kepts as pets.?
Imagine yourself a prisoner, locked up in a small, crammed cage, for no reason at all. You wait for the door to freedom to open, but it never does. This is how innocent insects like butterflies feel when they are kept as pets- trapped and stuck. Butterflies shouldn’t be kept as pets. They are natures insects, who deserve the right to live freely, outdoors. The food that these poor creatures mostly eat is nectar, which is found outside. Butterflies also play an important role in pollinating flowers and plants.
A wise and successful writer, Charles Dickinson, once quoted “ I only ask to be free, just like the butterflies.” Little did he know, the butterflies aren’t free. They need open land, to fly like the wind, but there are products out there that let you watch the transformation of butterflies, in tight “cages”.
this is what i have so far, please edit/fix whatever. PLEASE add to any paragraph AND add to what ive done already.

-butterflies can only live for 8 days (or 7 or something like tat)
so let those days be days of paradise.

l could go on and on regarding this question.
l truly hate to see any animal caged.l do not like to see canaries, budgerigars, any birds in a cage.lt is not natural.they should be free in there own environment.
Same with animals in a circus….this upsets me.especially when we see lions and elephants doing these low down ‘tricks’.
Tell me where this is normal and natural .lt is not………..
Same with Rodeos…l hate the way these poor animals are used in this way.
Like l said l could say more…but l will stop,as once l get started on this subject..l cannot stop.
As for your essay…l think it is very good.
