there are ants coming from my bathroom electrical socket. ive read on other yahoo answers questions about the same problem. someone said using a gel bait containing Fipronil or Imidacloporid and putting a few drops on the dry wall inside. but since its used for them to take back and eat…wouldnt the ants just keep coming to my bathroom to explore what else is out there?
anyone have success with this?

You could always just shove some of those plastic retainer things in the socket when it’s not being used so the ants can’t come out.
Sorry if that doesn’t make any sense.

Apply a thin layer of engine oil in the socket

Try to see what is below the socket. Is there a room below or basement? Find the initial entry point and kill the ant nest there. “engine oil” in a socket…guy is on serious drugs….about the dumbiset thing I have ever heard.
