One of the responsibilities of pet ownership… Give him (yes, you) a flea dip… Most pet shops will have a product to recommend. Get him a flea collar as well for prevention.

Put a FLEA COLLAR on him! If you can leave him outside for a while that would be good. An outdoor bath AFTER the flea collar is on would be good.
Try: Hartz 2 In One collar

Take your dog to the vet and get him flea-dipped, and they can also prescribe some flea-control solutions that really work.

You can give him a bath with dawn dish soap, works the same as a flea dip. get the dog wet, suds him up, let the suds stay on for 5 minutes, rinse and repeat. repeat till you dont see any fleas on him. then dry him with a towel. when you can get to the store, buy some flea shampoo and repeat the process. also, get him some flea treatments too. if he has fleas, your also going to have to flea bomb the house, and get some carpet powder that kills fleas as well. good luck!

All you need to do is go to your vet and get Frontline .. Fleas are something all pets get at one time or another .. Try to calm down !!!If you love him you need to get over this .. you not wanting to be near him worries me alot .. Dogs need love and attention from us , So if its really that bad and this isnt a joke .. If you cant stand to be near him find him a new home cuz what you are doing is a form of abuse and its wrong to treat him this way .

Flea collars are dangerous because dogs can have allergic reactions from them. Take him to the vet for a flea dip and while it is there have your house bombed. You must do this because believe it or not, the fleas are not only on your dog but in your carpeting, clothes, and even in your bedding. If you don’t have your house bombed the fleas will just keep returning. Then get a once a month flea medication from the vet so you don’t have this problem again.

Relax, give your dog a flea bath. Hartz makes a flea bath, follow the directions, or you can pay to have a vet dip your dog. They also make an oil based stuff that you put on your dog, supposed to last a month, comes in a little tube. Heard that giving your dog garlic tablets helps get rid of fleas. The only way to keep fleas off it is to not let it go outside. If you have a yard, you may want to think about getting it sprayed for fleas also.

Dear, not a problem. The simple solution to your query is that, take a small quantity of PHENYL form a shop near you, put the three to four spoons in a tub of water and give a bath to your pet with the water. I am sure that it will be all clear from flees, ticks and mites if any…

Fleas are not a plague. It is not a disease! He will be fine, and you will be fine. Nearly EVERY dog in the world has had at least a flea at one time or another…they are a fact of life.
Don’t put him away from you. You could really hurt his feelings. Just “chin up–teats out–and never let him see you sweat” … cowgirl saying…lol
You can face this…

the fleas even if they get on you will not bother you so long as you take daily baths. and for the dog, just ask the vet to give you some flea medication and give him a bath.

One simple solution…use a flea product like Advantage, Frontline, etc., especially during the warmer months. They may cost a little bit, but the solution is effective. In under a week the fleas should be taken care of. You can also stop by your local pet supply store for POWDER for your CARPETS (ina big bucket) to kill the fleas…that’s where they spend MOST of thier time…they only hitch a ride on the dog to feed. That product (which is NON-TOXIC) will go on working, if properly applied (easy to do) for us to a year.
You do not need to flea dip…it only kills the fleas that are on the animal at the time, and that’s very few at one time, and it also exposes the dog to unneccessary chemicals…although it’s seldom a bad idea to keep your dog clean with regular bathing
Do not use a flea collar, they are not all that effective and the chemicals can harm your dog over time.
If you do not solve the flea problem, your dog could get worms (another thing you’d have to deal with) or sever allergies (some dogs are allergic to flea bites), not to mention the loss in quality of your relationship with your dog.
Good Luck!

No flea collar. These are supposed to work by blocking the fleas path to the dog’s eyes, nose, and mouth (that is where fleas get their water from). They don’t work. Bathe your dog, better yet, have a professional do it. Then apply Frontline Plus and keep applying it as recommended by your vet that way you aren’t constantly dealing with this. Don’t freak out.

Just go to your Vet,and get a dose of Frontline appropriate for the size of your dog. Those fleas will be gone in no time.forget anything you get at the store, the stuff you get from your Vet will work 10 times better than store bought flea and tick meds.
