My 3 year old Bullmastiff had Lyme and Ehrlichia last year- took doxy for 2 months and much better.
He had 1 deer tick this year with a small red mark for about 1 week after tick removal. I watch him walk and at times think he is lame on his front end, although its hard to determine, since he is big and goofy! I want to re-check him for this, but I vagely remember that the Ehrlichia titer checked both the Lyme Disease levels as well as the Ehrlichia levels… Is this correct? Or do I need BOTH Lyme and Ehrlichia titers done to determine if he has this again?
