Tick ‘season’ typically last from the day after the first frost until the first frost.
Ticks start in early spring until late fall.
Just be sure to check yourself often.
NO! Check yourself regularly (you know, take your clothes off and check everywhere, especially around pink parts). If you don’t, YOU’LL GET SPOTTED FEVER AND LYME DISEASE!!!! AHHHH! A TICK!!! GET IT OFF ME!!!
you can get ticks anytime it just more prominent in dry summers just check yourself no matter what time of year it is and also make sure you check pets.
If you have to go into the woods, or somewhere w/ lots of weeds, wear long pants and long sleeves, and socks. I think tick season is over by september, but still be cautious.

Almost summer…I really doubt it. I think they will thrive until it’s too cold out. Take the walk, just look yourself over later.

You can live in tick prone areas and still manage to be safe. Here’s a site with some helpful hints:

hope this helps!
