On Wednesday (5 days ago) I went to my boyfriends house and he lives in a wooded area. Well we were walking around in his yard and that. Later that night I checked myself for ticks. I had none. So the next day I was washing clothes including the clothes I was wearing when I went to my boyfriends. And well later that night I felt an itch near my belly button and i felt something and I looked and there was a tick.
I ran into the bathroom with my lighter and got my tweezers. I heated up the tweezers and pulled the tick off but the head was stuck inside. So I took a nail clipper and pulled it out. I know I messed up and you’re not suppose to try to burn a tick off because it regurgitates its venom and that into the wound. Well I didnt know that till I looked it up.
The spot where I pulled the tick off is doing fine. No red or bullseyes. But it itches.
And well just a few minutes ago I felt an itch on my left breast. I mean REALLY itchy so i looked and there is this big red bump and is all red around it. I dont even remember getting bit. I’m really worried. Should I go to the doctor and get it checked out?
Like I have misqueto and gnat bites could that be it?
