Evil Bots and Stuff

I received this in an e-mail. It seems to me that the scent would attract mosquitos rather than repel them.

I want to know the scientific details if anyone knows? Is there a chemical in them that does the job?

Does carrying a dryer sheet in your pocket or holding it really keep mosquitoes away?

I am taking a small group camping soon, in an Indiana State Park. Mosquito repellent is a must, but are there other ways to repel biting insects while in camp? Any suggestions, please! I haven’t had much luck with those citronella candles!
