i live in ohio so no high power rifles or i would , savage mako .22 (http://www.taloinc.com/savage.htm) or a mossberg 500 12 ga. slug barrel w/ a 3-9x 40mm scope or just a savage walmart special .17 hmr or .22 mag.
Do I have to have a rifled barrel to shot slugs or will a rifled choke tube do? Remington 870 super mag.?
I just bought a Mossberg 500A 12 gauge and I need to find 12 gauge slugs. It has a smooth barrel…do i need a rifled barrel or choke? And where can i find cheap 12 gauge slugs???
When shooting 3in slugs how much would barrel length affect the accuracy and velocity? I’m talkin’ 18.5in barrel vs 23+ inches.
