Good video, good way to make slugs if you don’t have access to them for whatever reason. This also seems safer than the whole cut shell slug method. I am really suprised though at how some toadecks asshole decides to go on a vendetta against you for no apparent reason. You handled him well though. Homophobic racists such as toadecks should stay of the internet… anyway good video, question though, what is the choke on the shotgun you used for this?

Make sure to use high brass like in the video folks, seen some other idiot using 12 birdshot, which has less gun powder. #6 shot is very cheap to buy, and the brass is high with more gun powder, thus better results.

Hopefully I’ll never have to use it here in the U.S.A., but should that dark day come where I can no longer buy slugs or buckshot, your technique will be put to good use. Far better than “cut shells.”

@toadecks Take it easy: open your eyes: do you realise I MIGHT just be a tinkerer who likes to improvise stuff? In grade school, I improvised RC plane models (Which exploded!) Especially stuff I cannot get normally? I am NOT a poacher, we do not even have those animals where I stay, (Most hunting here would be for meat, for survival: not hides or Ivory.) I am fortunate, educated, in a good job: I go to McDonalds for my meat! (LOL)

Maybe when I come to the USA on vacation, I could shoot one.I assure you I have SOME knowledge of what I do: I was in the Nigerian Airforce for a few years,I did Basic Armourer’s course too. In the first instance: I didnt start it! Check online for hundreds of even more unsafe videos: Bushboy casting solid slugs from holes in wood, guys cutting of the crimp and pouring glue or wax into shot, guys cutting through shotshells so the front part goes flying out.Please!
