Did anyone watch “Midnight Money Madness” on TBS tonight or last night? Did you spend .99c to call? Do you …
Do you think it’s a ripoff? The rules say your chance of getting a call back are one in ten, and then if you have the right answer you will win the jackpot. Yet they dragged the last question out over a couple different commercial breaks; I assume they were just letting the .99c calls rack up by the thousands, and your odds of winning are closer to playing the lottery. Could one not actually spend mega bucks every night trying to win? Do you think these tactics are border-line illegal (gambling or illegal lotto)? Did you call? How many times? [We probably entered, for free, a hundred times on-line, and got no call backs, 1 in 10 odds?] What do you think?

i watched it both nights. Last night i did 3 calls, and tonite i didn’t bother. It must have made the odds go down on the RuPaul question. i think they needed to make more money due to there technical difficulties earlier that probably cut into there profits while not on the air…
good luck trying to win!!

It is beats listening to those stupid infomercials on at that time of night. It is somewhat humorous as to how stupid some of the puzzles are, but I guess they need to have some easy ones for the less knowledgeable. We played along and managed to get 2 calls back 1 night & 3 calls back on the 2nd night using the internet. So this way it didn’t cost us anything. I would still say that I think even .99 is pretty cheap for the return and your odds of winning is no different then If you went and threw it away playing Bingo at a casino. I would even think it would be better then throwing your money away on a slot machine. I don’t know about the illegal part , but why ruin fun for all those that can’t sleep at night. Just think you burn money every day you put gas in your car or someone elses car & go somewhere and even then you don’t always get a return on that.
