Cigar smoke helps. LOL- that’s so bad. I heard that you can use vinegar or rub crushed garlic on him.

Herbal remedies work, but their effects are short lived. So repeat within an hour, especially is you are sweaty, for best effect.
Basil– For a quick insect repellent, just rub some crushed basil leaves on your skin.
Catnip — Researchers at Iowa State University found nepetalactone, the essential oil in catnip that gives the plant its characteristic odor, is ten times more effective at repelling mosquitoes than DEET.
Feverfew — To protect against flies, gnats and mosquitoes, and especially bees bathe exposed skin with a double strength standard brew of Feverfew and let dry.
Amber colored Listerine sprayed outside in the area where you are sitting, will keep mosquitos away up to two days.
Use equal amounts of pure vanilla and water in a squirt bottle. Works great for children too!

Buy from Avon, “Skin So Soft”. The lotion has a scent that keeps the mosquitoes from biting. You can buy online.

Put Minty Listerine in a spray bottle and spray some on… smells good and for some reason keeps the bugs off… works with our 22 month old son!
My friend’s mom introduced it to us at a BBQ once.

Eliminate their breeding grounds
First remove the habitat for the mosquito’s which would be anything that has standing water..bottles, cans, tires, small holes in the yard. You might be surprised to see how many places are holding water. Mosquito’s don’t like running water, only standing water.
Then like everyone said use Avon skin so soft.

Keep him in the house. Period.
Or if you want to cut down on the possibility, keep him indoors at sunrise (mornings) and sunset (evenings) – when they (not your child) are most active.

keep him away from large amounts if water . Also if it rained outside and it was around the hours of 6:30 or later keep him from going out if possible . Also the tourches they sell for the backyard seems to work well till about 9:00 and the mosquito candles keep them away till 9:30 almost 10:00 on dry days. Also if the lawn is wet and he it outside make sure he doesnt stand on the lawn if later than 5:30. Good luck and hope this works well for you
