How do I get rid of scars on my legs?
Mosquitoes are EXTRA fond of me and I happen to be allergic(allergic=simple bites swell to the literal size of my fist!) anyway, they leave purple looking scars on my fair skin legs. Whats the best nonsurgical way to get them to fade (and fast)?
I still get bitten even though I use Deet-containing repellent. I will look into the organic stuff, I’m always afraid it might harm me if I use too much, thanks for that. But How am I lying?? They swell up without me scratching them (and its not easy not too)I have some sort of reaction, all I have to do is bump my ankle (as I did the other night cleaning my tub) against the cabinet and my sock becomes soaked with infection when it busts (although it releaves the pain it leaves a huge sore). Sorry to give that kind of detail but I’m trying to give u an idea of what I’m up against. Could it be some unseen spider biting me or something?!

Try mederma for scars, it works really well. You can also use neosporin.

You can find lotions and oils in any local store with Vitamin E (Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Aloe and Sweet Almond Oil). It won’t get rid of the scars (there really isn’t a way to do that) but it’ll reduce the visibility. Hope this helps.

Use Caladryl to reduce the redness and itching, and then use Vitamin E oil! It’s cheap and easy to get, even vaseline will do for temporary use till you get vitamin e oil and vaseline costs next to nothing! I’m sure that will work and I hope your legs get better for summer! Good luck!

Women in general are bitten more by mosquitoes because of their hormonal status. Why don’t you prevent bites in the first place by using nets/mosquio repellants? If you still get bitten than use some antiallergic like benadryl/chloro pheneramine maleate/calamine lotion etc.Get your blood checked for platelets and eosinophils.Use vitmin E/A/D cream for the scars.
