Does anyone know how to convert an mp3 song to a ringtone?

because I got this “mosquito” ringtone (its a ringtone that ONLY kids and teens can hear) well actually its a really short Mp3 and I need to convert it to a ringtone because my phone does NOT support mp3 format

It is dependant on your phones programming language. Check the manufacturer’s site and find out the possible formats it can be changed to.

it would depend on the type of phone you get. when u purchase the phone, there should be a book that tells you what to do. read that book for help. or if you need more help, call that phone place or the constumer service for assistant.

If your phone and carrier supports it, you can sometimes send an SMS message to yourself with the file as an attachment. To do this, you need the full email address of your phone, so you may have to ask customer service what format it would be (for example: xxxxxxxxxx@mail.carrier.net). Then, save the attachment to your phone and make it a ringtone.
Again, this depends greatly on your phone’s capabilities and what the carrier allows. As far as the ringtone you want to use, your phone must be able to play .mp3 ringtones, or it won’t work.

There is a application which allows you to use a song from your computer and convert it to a ringtone. The name of this application is called Xingtone Ringtone Maker it’s very useful use Yahoo! Search Engine: Xingtone Ringtone Maker.
