Can heat or humidity cause zit like bumps?
I know this sounds gross BUT(no pun intended) for the first time in my life since I have moved to Thailand which is very hot and humid and I have started to get red bumps on my butt, lower back and sometimes on my legs.In America I have never been affected by mosquitoes in my life,I have never had one single red mark or itch from a bite.Do mosquitoes in different countries give different allergic reactions that could cause this or it is the extreme heat and humidity?I did notice when sleeping in a bungalow without a bug net I had many the next day but I still get them in my house without(as far as I know)any mosquitoes.HELP!

Considering the location on your body where the rash is occurring, my guess would be most like heat rash. And yep, the humidity won’t help, either. If you can get your hands on a clay-based talcum powder (Burts Bees make one, don’t know if you can get it there, though), wash the affected areas thoroughly, dry completely, then apply the talcum to those areas. In a pinch, cornstarch will help somewhat, but the clay talcum works the best of everything I have tried. Also try wearing underwear that allows the skin to breath, like all-cotton, just so long as it does not contain manmade fibers. And you want it to fit in such a way that it prevents rubbing and further irritation of the skin. Hope this helps, I know how miserable rashes can be.
