Can an guy’s innie bellybutton turn into an outie without surgery or disease?

Mosquitoes
I’ve always wondered if my outie bulged out because of the mosquito bite it had as an innie or because of the burn it got when swollen from it. Why do I have an outie now? Is there any way this could happen to anyone else?

Not sure if it can I would ask a doctor just to make sure.

Yeah, it’s just swollen. An “outtie” just means the doctor made a sloppy cut when seperating the baby from the umbilical cord. An “innie” therefore cannot grow.

As I understand it, you can get an outie if you experience significant weight gain or a hernia. Women, of course, can get one in pregnancies. Barring that, I do not know.

Could be an umbilical hernia, which requires very minor outpatient surgery to repair. I suggest you see a doctor to find out. Good luck!

yes a condition like severe ascites could probably fill your abdomen with enough liquid to push it out

If there was any hot grease on it, it could scorch the center of your bellybutton and the center of it could have been burnt shut. That could’ve make the rest go out if the outie is shaped like a hill in the hole of your belly.
