Is there a internet watchdog?

Fraud
My question: Is there a internet watchdog, some org. or goverment that investigates internet fraud? As in advertisements that promise you something for free and you wind up shelling out money in the end? Please give me there web site?

Yes there is. It is set up by USA. It is called the Federal Trade Comission. The corresponding weblink is http://www.ftc.gov . You need to go to that link and give the required details as to where you think a fraudulent activity has taken place. They will get in touch with you very soon. It’s set up to protect the freedom and rights of the common internet user like you and me.
