@tamerswan
well…yes i’m rather sort of atheist..or at least definitly not a believer in any religion of this planet…but what this have to do with the tubes?
They definitely went commercial here. I much prefer older tubes, although Talk to ya later and Shes a beauty were still well written songs. But Whiz Quiz, Space Baby, Tubes World Tour, Mondo Bondage, Baby Your Face is mutated, Jesus Bongo etc, all EPIC!
Remote Control is a great album. Great music, clever and funny lyrics. I miss the Tubes sarcasm. Today’s music is absolutely miserable, and I’m being nice by referring to it as music. RIP Vince Welnick.
Of all the songs done by The Tubes, this is my favorite. Doesn’t hurt that the album this came from (Remote Control) was produced by The Master, Todd Rundgren.
I had a huge craving to hear this song, so I came to YouTube and sure enough–I found it! Thanks sooo much for posting this, Steffhasajag!

Reminds me of HMV Coventry circa 1979, wagging off school. Thanks for taking me back there. Happy days.
