There was once a very old street. In this street there was very few old houses. In one of these houses two doves nested who did not leave. The whole neighborhood knew. One day they flew to the roof of Notre-Dame. The people would leave crumbs of bread for the two doves. But one night a storm hit the city. The doves ran from the basement to the attic. In the middle of the night the walls of the house cracked and fell leaving one of the doves trapped. The people where sadly convinced that they would never see the two doves together along the edge of the window. The other dove kept jumping from one rock to another then he finally flew. The children saw something amazing. The dove had brought his companion a straw which held drops of water and crumbs. Everyone was amazed. Even though his companion was trapped he still cared for her and brought her crumbs and water every day. But then finally the men came to free the dove.
