picture of daughter’s leg. What are these spots? toddler?
My daughter is 2. She has bad exzema on her legs. I control that with a cream. But now today I see she has red circles on her legs. They are all the same size. She never has these circles before.
I don’t know what they are. She has about 15 of them total from both legs. They don’t seem to bother her. She isn’t scratching. She is playing like normal.
I don’t think they are mosquito bites. Mosquito bites on her looks different,. Yesterday when we went outside in the afternoon, I put repellent spray on her. She didn’t have these circles when she went to bed last night.
ANYONE SEEN THESE BEFORE?? thanks

They do look like bug bites. But they could be anything from a Mosquito to chiggers even if you sprayed the bug repellent. Chiggers are little teeny red bugs you can’t see plainly.

They look like mosquito bites. My daughters looked about the same. I’m not sure if its because of their age that they welt up like that or not. But my daughter had scratched them a little bit and they really resemble what your daughters look like. If your worried about what it could be I would schedule an appt with your family physician.
Best of luck.

maybe its an allergic reaction to something my 2yr old was taking a antibiotic she was down to the last 2 doses then one night went to bed woke up the next moring with spots first i noticed legs (kinda simialer to your picture) then after more looking through out the day she was getting covered in spots. just keep your eye on it and see if it speads and call the dr. maybe just to see if its serious.

They look like mosquito bites. Make sure you’re spraying her with insect repellent…those bugs are really bad this year, and bigger too.
If they get worse, then I would call the doctor. If you have some campho-phenique ( i use the generic) the swab it on with a q-tip or cotton ball on each one. It helps with the swelling of them, and itching also (which may come later).
