Mosquitoes in El Chorro, Spain in April?

I’m going climbing and camping for a week in El Chorro, Spain the first week of April. Mosquitoes normally love me so I was just wondering if I needed to get some insect repellent?

Im not quite sure but there will be if it is really humid then I’d bring some any ways just to be safe

I have hiked and camped all over Spain and there are few bugs of any sort. Scorpions on the east coast near Sagunto, yes. Weird pushy gypsies in Segovia, yes. Falshers in Barcelona, check. No mosquitos.

Not in April. It’s too chilly for them.

There aren’t any mosquitoes in April, so don’t worry. If mosquitoes keep up loving you even in April, you’ll be able to find an insect repellent in lots of shops.
