I’ve treated my 3 cats with Frontline 2 weeks ago but they have fleas again.?
I will have to wait another 2 weeks before I can treat them with Frontline again. I have sprayed the whole house with flea spray and this worked because there are no fleas or eggs anymore, and when there are fleas on the carpet they die. But they came back to the cats. Does anyone know what I could do in the meantime until I can use Frontline again? I thought about flea collars. They are indoor cats, so they can’t get trapped in branches with them outside. But do the collars work?
Has anyone ever used an electric flea comb that kills the fleas? I use a normal one at the moment.
Is there anything else I can do?
I would be grateful for any suggestion, as it is driving me mad. I spend most of my time after work cleaning, spraying and combing the cats!

Fleas don’t just make cats uncomfortable, they can also cause skin allergies and tapeworm infestations (when cats ingest fleas through grooming). Cats who stay indoors are less likely to get fleas, but they can still catch them from you if you accidentally bring fleas inside on your pants or shoes. Monthly treatments with flea killers aren’t necessary unless you see fleas on your cat, nor are baths with hazardous insecticidal shampoos (since soap and water alone kill fleas). A nontoxic alternative to flea poisons is to use a flea comb, which catches the fleas in its fine teeth, and then dunk the fleas into a container of soapy water or put them in a container in the freezer.

You need to de flea your house at the same time as the cats. Indorex is recommended by vets, and available on line a lot cheaper.

Did you use regular frontline or frontline plus? I use frontline plus and it works great. if you used just regular frontline you have to buy spray for your house.

Hi There,
If you have any problems , write back or at least go to the vet
It would help.
Well .. I used to have 30 cats.I hope my answers work with you. The flea collars don’t really work – they get used up like after a month – so it’s not really worth it at the moment as they are selling really expensive since It’s Summer. Another thing that you can do is .. hmmm .. are you using Frontline Spray or Frontline Drops ?? I do not reccomand you the Frontline Drops as they can make the skin so ……… damaged as it happened to my friend’s cat. I hope you find this information good
